Here's what you can expect:

To simulate the test experience as much as possible, we have a set of rules that you will have to follow:

• No bags and personal items are allowed in the test room.
• Kindly ensure you use the toilet prior to taking the test because we will not let you out of the test room once the test begins.
• There is a zero-tolerance rule for cheating, noise, or communicating with other test participants. Any violation of this rule may lead to removal from the test.

Pen and other necessary materials for the test will be provided by Search Education.  

Next, our team will give a detailed briefing beforehand to ensure you're familiar with the test format and instructions.

We made these rules to mirror the real IELTS exam so that you get to feel the real exam environment. By respecting these rules, you will be able to take your actual IELTS exam test confidently without feeling nervous. 

Writing

Duration: 60 minutes

Tasks:

• Task1: You will be given a visual representation (e.g., a graph, chart, or diagram) and need to describe it in your own words.
• Task2: You will need to write an essay in response to a question or argument. This task requires you to present your point of view, provide supporting arguments, and structure your essay logically.

Listening

Duration: 30 minutes + 10 minutes (to transfer answers)

Tasks:

• You will answer a series of questions based on these recordings, which may include multiple-choice, matching, and short-answer questions.

Reading

Duration: 60 minutes

Tasks:

• The Reading section consists of three passages with a total of 40 questions.
• Questions vary in type, including multiple-choice, true/false/not given, and matching headings.

Speaking

Duration: 15-30 minutes (including feedback from our instructors)

Tasks:

• Part 1: The examiner will ask you general questions about familiar topics such as your family, studies, hobbies, or hometown.
• Part 2: You will be given a task card with a topic and will have 1 minute to prepare. You need to speak for 1-2 minutes on the topic.
• Part 3: The examiner will ask you more in-depth questions related to the topic in Part 2. This section is a discussion-based conversation.

Note: When you choose IELTS on Computer, you take the Listening, Reading, and Writing components using a desktop computer, while Speaking will be face-to-face with our instructor.
