There are strict rules for rescheduling or cancelling the IELTS test once it is booked. The rules are as follows:
Yes, you need to bring a passport during the test day, depending on which one you used during IELTS booking.
The IELTS is valid for two years from the date of the test.
Effective from February 22, 2025, participants are not allowed to use pencils in all IELTS paper-based exams. Candidates must use a black ballpoint pen for writing their answers.
You can take IELTS as many times as you want until you achieve your desired score.
You must bring your passport, depending on which one you used for IELTS exam registration.
Keynote on IELTS regulations: In 2025, IELTS introduced a pen-only policy for paper-based exams. This means you must only use a black ballpoint pen provided by the test centre. The use of pencils is now prohibited. Electronic items are also not allowed inside exam halls and must be kept outside the test room.
