Take our paid IELTS mock test in Kathmandu and receive instant band score predictions, expert feedback from our instructors, and experience a real exam environment.
An IELTS mock test is a practice version of the real IELTS exam that helps students understand the test format, check their English language proficiency, and find out which sections they need to improve before taking the actual test.
Taking an IELTS mock test helps you understand each part of the IELTS components, including Listening, Reading, Speaking, and Writing, which enables you to identify your strengths and weaknesses, analyze your performance, and develop effective strategies to boost your score.
The IELTS mock test replicates the structure and format of the real IELTS exam, which gives you a clear idea of how the real exam works. It helps you get familiar with each section, question types, and set of instructions, thus improving focus, reducing test anxiety, and helping you feel more confident during the test day.

Section | Duration | Tasks |
Writing | 60 minutes | You will be given a visual representation (e.g., a graph, chart, or diagram) and need to describe it in your own words. You will need to write an essay in response to a question or argument. This task requires you to present your point of view, provide supporting arguments, and structure your essay logically. |
Listening | 30 minutes + 10 minutes (to transfer answers) | You will answer a series of questions based on these recordings, which may include multiple-choice, matching, and short-answer questions. |
Reading | 60 minutes | The Reading section consists of three passages with a total of 40 questions. Questions vary in type, including multiple-choice, true/false/not given, and matching headings. |
Speaking | 15-30 minutes (including feedback from our instructors) | Part 1: The examiner will ask you general questions about familiar topics such as your family, studies, hobbies, or hometown. Part 2: You will be given a task card with a topic and will have 1 minute to prepare. You need to speak for 1-2 minutes on the topic. Part 3: The examiner will ask you more in-depth questions related to the topic in Part 2. This section is a discussion-based conversation. |
