When are the intakes at University of East London for Nepali students?

The main intakes provided by UEL include:

Please note, term-1 and term-2 are the most common intake times, whereas term-3 is the least common (it is for students who need time to prepare their personal situations).

What are the entry requirements of University of East London for Nepali students?

As per the official University of East London website, some of the entry requirements for different courses at UEL are:  

English Proficiency Test (any one of them) 

Test Type Minimum Requirements 
IELTS 6/5.5
PTE 59/59


Please note that: 

  • If you don’t meet English proficiency test requirements, UEL offers pre-sessional English (PSE) to get you to the level required for your specific course. Please contact us, Search Education Nepal, for more info.
  • If you have studied in English medium throughout your studies and at the same time have over 70% or B+ in the English language in the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) (i.e., +2), you are not required to take the English proficiency test.

 

Undergraduate  

Type Minimum Requirements 
Grade - 12 2.8 (GPA) or 60% 


If you are going to pursue a subject that requires math, level 2 in math (at least 60%). 

 

Postgraduate  

Type Minimum Requirements 
4 years Bachelor’s Degree 55% 


 Please note that 3 years bachelor for international degrees only accepted.

 

Higher degree by research  

Type Requirements 
Master’s By Research At least second class (60%) honours in any degree from recognized universities. 
Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) At least upper second class (60-69%) or first-class (70%) honours in any degree from recognized universities.
